While you see me fishing for good lighting and interesting characters in Turin, I will tell you a bit about the film simulation I am using today.Fujifilm's "Classic Negative" film simulation is a digital recreation of the classic Fujicolor Superia 100 analog film.
It is designed to capture vibrant colors and natural skin tones, which makes it an ideal choice for street photography in my opinion.
The Classic Negative film simulation has a harder tonality and higher saturation than Fujifilm's other popular film simulation, Classic Chrome which I used before I discovered classic negative.
The colors produced by Classic Negative are rich and vivid, with a warm feeling that can be captured even when using auto white balance settings.
The contrast between highlights and shadows is also more pronounced than with other film simulations, giving your photos an extra level of depth and detail.
When shooting street photography with the Classic Negative film simulation, you can expect really beautiful results in nearly any lighting situation.
Whether you're shooting in bright sunlight or low light conditions, this versatile film simulation will help you capture beautiful images that reflect the atmosphere of your surroundings.
So- Overall, Fujifilm's Classic Negative film simulation is an excellent choice for street photography because of its ability to produce vibrant colors and natural skin tones in any lighting condition.
With its hard tonality and higher saturation, this really has become my favorite film simulation for my x100v and the XT-4 as well.
The video on street photography in not so safe places announced last week is coming next week, sorry for the delay.
