‘Thrown in the Deep End’ I will be contributing again to this beautiful project created by artist, and mom to Tigo, Rinska Douna. As a fellow NICU mom and fluid artist, we had an natural connection. Connection with others that have been though similar experience is powerful and healing.

As I mentioned before, our families fraternal twin girls were born in January of 2018 at 28 weeks
gestation. My daughters spent 10 weeks in the Sacred Heart NICU in Spokane, Washington. They were born at 2lb 12oz and 2lb 13oz. This one is all about letting go control. The beautiful contrast and color a baby sees at the age of five months. I hope the baby can gaze upon us and feel serenity and excitement!
