In celebration of five years on the channel, we’re going back to where it all began - the Sidecar! This was the first cocktail I featured, and it’s the drink that got me hooked on classic cocktails years ago. Just for fun, we’re also making the Alabazam (love the name), a similar drink that predates the Sidecar by over 40 years. Feel free to mix along at home. 3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz. (15 ml) semi-rich simple syrup (1.5:1 sugar:water)
