Yelbong has the best canyon trek of north Bengal. One will find many beautiful and spectacular waterfalls deep inside the jungle, perfect for resting and enjoying a peaceful time. During this trek 2 hidden treasure of nature will make you cherish, one is ‘Rainbow waterfall’ – A waterfall that spreads rainbow colour and another is ‘Three-step waterfall’. The main adventure trek starts from here which combines rappelling, Swimming, Bouldering, scrolling in a cave, River crossing and many other terms of the adventure course.

Nearest Airport – Bagdogra (IXB)
Nearest Railway Station – New Jalpaiguri (NJP)

From Bagdogra, it is 70 kilometres and from NJP it is 50 kilometres (2.5 hours) drive to Yelbong through some wonderful tea gardens, Forest, hilly landscape, small towns and villages. One can also reach here from Mal. Junction 35 kilometres 1.5 hours drive.

Best time to visit
One can visit Yelbong throughout the year but summer is best as the trek becomes quite pleasing also monsoon monsoons make this place seem close to heaven.
