How South LA Robotics Is Closing the Tech Gap in South Los Angeles | SoLA Robotics

When you think about South LA, opportunities in robotics might not be the first thing that comes to mind. But one organization is committed to changing just that.

For over three years, South LA Robotics has worked to close the technology gap for students in South Los Angeles by providing accessible robotic and coding courses in community centers and spaces across Los Angeles. The organization is pushing towards a world where any students who wants to learn about robotics should be able to do so in their own community.

South LA Robotics has been able to extend its reach by partnering with two brand new community centers in South LA - The SoLA Teen Tech Center and the Best Buy Teen Tech Center.
