Baelor The Blessed Targaryen : Complete Reign | House Of The Dragon | Game Of Thrones History & Lore

With the death of King Daeron i Targaryen in the sands of Dorne the throne passed to his younger brother Baelor Targaryen. Baelor was not like any other king westeros ever saw, he was devout to his faith to the point you could call him a religious zealot, while many of his choice over his reign would damage westeros and house targaryen forever, they were well intentioned as her truly believed what he was doing was best for the realm. Perhaps the most interesting part of his reign is not the king himself but his three sisters whom he placed in a maidenvault for near ten years in order to protect their virtue, as well as suprisess any destrise he had for them. This was very much against their will, and thus they still managed to protest there brothers rule. None more so than Daena Targaryen whom while trapped in the maiden vault gave birth to a bastard son. Daemon Waters, later known as Daemon Blackfyre, a man whom would near single handedly bring down the house of the dragon in years to come.

Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen was trapped on Dragonstone by her brother King Aegon ii with no way to escape her fate. What was to come was the final showdown between the two main players of the dance of the dragons and bring the war into its final phase. The House of the dragon was crumbling and the events that was about to follow would only cause more damage to both sides of the war.
