Wondering if there are still witches practicing magic out in the world?

Modern day witchcraft is all around us. Around 1.5 million people practice witchcraft or belong to Wicca in America. The Wiccan religion started in the 20th century as a combination of ancient traditions, respect for nature, and intuition.

One man, Gerald Gardner, is referred to as the "Father of Wicca." He created the specific ideology known as Gardnerian Wicca in the mid-1900s. Ever since then, witchcraft has been rising and is now firmly placed in mainstream culture.

Many of the holidays we celebrate today and modern traditions have roots in the Pagan religion. So paganism, magic, and witchcraft are already all around us, whether we like it or not.

Magic is not just waving wands or pulling rabbits out of hats. It's changing your consciousness and being aware of the sacred in the world around us.

There is much more to witchcraft than crystals, herbs, and casting spells! In this episode, Kyle and Jamie discover what Wicca is all about and how to join it. They find that it's a lot more than they signed up for.
