Long Meg and her Daughters is one of Britain’s largest stone circles. Unlike the beautifully placed Castlerigg in Cumbria, Long Meg has a modern road carved through it and is located next to a farm. It is 360 ft wide and has a Flattened B type geometry as discovered by Alexander Thom. Long Meg is actually the outlier stone standing around 12 feet high oriented to the midwinter sunset (like at Stonehenge) and has beautiful spiral carvings on it. Includes exclusive aerial footage.
