‘Driftwood’ is a nasheed (song of praise) about being in the ocean of Allah (AJ). That when Allah (AJ) make the religion to be true, He places them in a ocean of His mercy. And all you can feel like is a wood that just bouncing in endless tides and endless testing. And the yearning to land on the shore – that’s the shore of the heavens. Because when Allah (AJ) loves His servant in dunya (material world) He puts them through an ocean of rahmah, of testing. That all they yearn for is to return to the heavens and to be back in Allah's (AJ) Divinely oceans, Divinely Presence and the Presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
