In Chili Con Corny (1972), Woody cruises through a scorching desert in a dune buggy and stops at Mrs. Meany’s ramshackle café for a bite. When the only dish available is her infamous chili and beans, Woody soon regrets it—smoke pours from his ears and flames shoot from his mouth. Mrs. Meany forces him to wash dishes to pay, leading to slapstick escapes, flour barrels, and gunplay. Woody’s ingenuity—and classic fourth-wall humor—help him escape her wrath (though she lies about how many bullets she has). Directed by Paul J.
