• Paneer Recipe
Ingredients (सामग्री):
1. Paneer (पनीर) – 300 grams cubed
2. Onion (प्याज) – 1 peeled and cubed
3. Capsicum / Bell Pepper (शिमला मिर्च) – 1(cut in the cube)
4. Tomato (टमाटर) - 1, cut in cube
5. Garlic (लहसुन) – 3 fat cloves, chopped finely
6. Ginger (अदरक) – 2 cm piece chopped finely
7. Green Chilli ( हरी मिर्च) – 1( cut in diagonals)
8. Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
9. Pepper powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर) - ¼ tsp
10. Sugar (चीनी) – 1 tsp
11. Tomato ketchup (टोमैटो कैचप) – 2 tbsp or to taste
12. Red Chilli Sauce (लालाल मिर्च की चटनी) – 1 tablespoon or to taste
13. Soy Sauce (सोया सास) – 1 tablespoon
14. Vinegar (विनिगर) – 1 teaspoon
15. Spring Onion finely chopped (सागा प्याज) - 2 tablespoon
16. Cooking oil (खाना बनाने का तेल) - 1 tablespoon
For Marination and Frying:
1. All Purpose Flour / Maida (मैदा) – 2 tbsp and 1 teaspoon for Marination
2. Corn Flour / Corn Starch (ararot) – 1 tblspn
3. Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार) - 1/4 teaspoon
4. Pepper Powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर) – 1/4 tsp
5. Water as needed (पानी आवश्यकता के अनुसार)
6. Oil for frying (तलने के लिए तेल)
Steps to cook:
First, marinate the paneer with pepper powder and salt, keep it aside for 10 minutes. Then sprinkle 1 teaspoon of all purpose flour and mix it well.
Heat oil in a pan. Take corn flour and all-purpose flour in a bowl, add water and make it to slightly thin batter. Dip the marinated paneer in the batter and fry till golden brown and remove it to a plate.
Heat pan and add 1 tablespoon oil, once it hot, add ginger and garlic and saute for half a minute on low flame.
Add onions, capsicum, tomato and green chilli, saute for 1 minute on high heat.
Add in salt, chopped spring onion (half quantity) and sauces and mix well. Add 3 tablespoon of water, put the lid and cook for 1 minute on medium heat.
After 1 minute, remove the lid and add sugar and fried paneer and toss. Put the lid again and cook for half a minute on medium heat. Then add vinegar, stir well and turn off the stove.
Sprinkle chopped spring onions and mix well and Serve hot.
