Today is Day 25 of our onion farming journey. In this video, I am sharing a crucial update on our crop. We are actually growing two different types of onions this season with two very different goals:
For Bulbs: Standard farming to harvest onions for kitchen use/selling.
For Seeds: Dedicated plants to harvest onion seeds for next year.
Why are we growing our own seeds? This year, we purchased onion seeds at a very high price of ₹7,000 per kg. To cut down costs and become self-sustainable, we decided to produce our own high-quality seeds at home for the next planting season.
