This cinematic drone film captures my journey through the vast alpine meadows of Dayara Bugyal, one of the most beautiful high-altitude grasslands in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand.

Located at around 3,400 meters (11,200 ft), Dayara Bugyal is known for its endless green meadows in summer and snow-covered white landscapes in winter. These bugyals (alpine pastures) are traditionally used by local villagers for grazing sheep and cattle during warmer months.

As you move higher, you witness:
• Traditional Garhwali villages with stone houses and wooden temples
• Locals wearing warm woollen clothing, deeply connected to nature
• Open meadows where shepherds still follow age-old mountain life
• Panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Bandarpoonch, Srikanth, and Draupadi Ka Danda on clear days
