Stage 1: Sides A-B

Recollecting the old times, the good old days. This is the start for our decaying memories. The beginning of the end.

Stage 2: Sides C-D

A realisation that something is wrong, with a constant denial about it. More effort is needed to recall memories with a little more deterioration. The patient often feels more down than usual, eventually leading to confusion.

Stage 3: Sides E-F

Here we have the last few coherent memories before confusion fully kicks in and memories start to melt and tangle with one another. As we go on, a couple memories are more isolated and misfigured, and distant. These are the few glimpses of awareness before true confusion occurs.

Stage 4: Sides G-H-I-J

Post-Awareness Stage 4 is when peaceful moments and being able to recall singular thoughts may give in to confusion and terror. This is the start of memories becoming more fluid through tangles, rupture and repetition.

Stage 5: Sides K-L-M-N

Post-Awareness Stage 5 more confusion and terror. Constant extreme ruptures, repetitions and tangling may lead to more peaceful times. The foreign can sometimes feel common, and time is often spent only in the moment, thus leading to isolation.

There is almost nothing left. Any other memories that might still be there are tangled and destroyed beyond recognition. There is no longer a concept of 'time' and 'space'. The brain may try remembering anything, but to no avail. Place in their world is truly fading away.
