Sixties Icon, Girl on a Motorcycle. (Ben Cuddihy)

Hard driving rocker about a beautiful and liberated woman who rides her Harley at breakneck speed to a rendezvous with her secret lover.
 'She's a 6O's Icon' is composed in homage to the best selling 1960's novel The Girl On The Motorcycle (La Motocyclette) by Pieyre De Mandiargues and later an erotic film featuring Marianne Faithfull that was produced by Irish pirate radio King Ronan O Rahilly of the sea going Radio Caroline 259.
This song first had it's genesis in the late 70's and was regularly performed by Ben at the Jane Doe sessions in Fred Zeppelins bar in Cork in the late 90's.
Now in his 'dotage' Ben (Cudz) Cuddihy is reviving his early 70's heavy rock tunes for one last fandango out into the digital world.
Ben directed the video, which was filmed by his documentary film making partner Pat Hegarty and features Cristina Pira.
