In April of 2023, we received an assignment to craft individual experimental films. For my project, I chose to film in Volos, Greece, where my mom resides. I wanted to create an odd experimental film with themes of childhood and nostalgia with my own poetry and create unique visual compositions. To bring my vision to life, I enlisted the help of a talented music student, Maya B, who crafted the childhood-like score featured in the film.
