Part 1 of 2 in the Mini Series on How I Create Survival Horror Music with the Korg Wavestate!
My first video here combining footages and talking through one of my processes for creating original non intrusive survival horror video game music.
Utilizing the Korg Wavestate and recording directly into the Tascam Model 12, I want to begin talking about and providing insight into this process I have been working on this past year.
Here on Youtube I want to SHOW how I do things when I make and design music for survival horror indie games - It's been an overwhelming process to try and do this in a cohesive and streamlined way, while still being myself.
The goal of this video is to share how I start with inspiration and use a synthesizer to bring that inspiration forward into the recording process.
This will be part 1 of 2 - The second video will provide a deep dive into mix breakdown as I talk through my mental process and approach while showing several sessions of this type of music from this process.
