Even with the blockade, I'm still making over 200k credits a month with all 6 of my colonies combined. That's Amazon, Gaia, Barathrum, Mesa, Gaanix, and now Balrog. Combined with the money I can earn from missions, and I'm still able to build the all-important facilities I need to keep the gravy train rolling. For some, that means 450k to build the Stellar Reflector Array, which counters certain temperature conditions like excess heat, and also allows me to terraform a planet to a more terran-compatible standard. That's already happened with Mesa, which used to be a Tundra world until I got it 'fixed'. Hooray!
As far as battles this episode, it's mostly dealing with bounties, pirates, and the Luddic Path. The Pathers are gonna be a big problem because I'm using AI cores, now, in addition to having a lot of heavy industrial capacity, both of which they hate. To counter this, I have an Operative (Nexerilin mod) to run internal security operations, disrupting Luddic Path cells on my colonies and revealing what bases are supporting their operations. Destroying these orbital bases cuts off that support and prevents the cell from causing any real damage.
