Come along with me to check four trail cameras I set in May 2025 at the Grand Sable Dunes in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Pictured Rocks is known for its beautiful multicolored cliffs along the south shore of Lake Superior, however a hidden gem most are unaware of is the Grand Sable Dunes near Grand Marais, Michigan. This dune system is five square miles of open sand, vegetation and mixed forest creating habitat for white-tailed deer, coyote, and black bear. If you decide to explore the dunes, please be cautious of sensitive dune vegetation.
Species featured in this video: coyote, wild turkey, American black bear, white-tailed deer, snowshoe hare.
