Lanbitou 3088 Fountain Pen - a Curidas Clone

I ran across a pen that I wanted to try, the Lanbitou 3088. I was wondering if a $9.50 Chinese made pen was as good as a Japanese made Platinum fountain pen that retails for about $90.
