Main Highlights & Rituals

✔️ A grand Ghatam procession was the main highlight. A decorated elephant carried the Matha Ghatam from Akkanna Madanna Temple in Haribowli. The procession passed through Nagalchinta, Shahalibanda, Charminar, and Gulzar Houz, ending at Delhi Darwaza near the Musi River, where the Ghatam was later immersed near Nayapul.

✔️ Simultaneously, the Simha Vaahini Sri Mahankali procession at Lal Darwaza Temple drew massive crowds, with devotees offering Bonam, women in trance dancing, and devotees walking barefoot for darshan.

✔️ Traditional rituals like Potharaju dance, rhythmic drum ensembles, and the trance-induced spiritual dance ("shigam") added to the fervour.

Cultural Significance
