This video shows a simple working day in the Carpathian Mountains, real village life, traditional food, and old rural customs.
In this video, you will see daily life in a Carpathian mountain village. The morning starts with traditional cooking: frozen mushrooms stewed with onions in pork lard, homemade soup (rosolnyk) with potatoes, pickled cucumber, and smoked ribs.
We prepare rice, make a traditional fried base, and cook cabbage rolls with sauerkraut using an old Carpathian recipe. I also show how to make homemade butter from fresh cow’s cream using a simple plastic bottle — a traditional rural method still used in the Carpathian Mountains.
This video is about real village life in the mountains, simple work, family traditions, and slow living in the Carpathians.
