A steep climb from Chilliwack river valley up to Pierce Lake rewards you with one of the best sub-alpine camp sites and sunset views that I've ever witnessed. From there a fun, slightly challenging class 3 scramble leads to the peak of Mount MacFarlane. Featuring sinister views of Mt Slesse, and other summits of the North Cascades.
