Steve the Dub Promoter sets up his 'All Tone Rockers' sound system, and prepares the venue for the evening's dance. It's not long before tonight's audience starts to gather. 'All Tone Rockers' sound system may look on the small side but it sure is POWERFUL!!
The device with a tall aerial (on top of the amplifier) is a 'theremin', an electronic musical instrument accidentally invented in the 1920's by the Soviet radio engineer León Theremin. Eerie and spooky sounds can be generated merely by waving your hands in the presence of the aerial, not even needing to touch it.
