Teledyne FLIR Defense has secured a major $168.3 million contract with the U.S. Army to modernize the NBCRV sensor suite on the M1135 Stryker platform. This strategic upgrade aims to enhance the detection and response capabilities for nuclear, biological, chemical, and radiological (NRBC) threats. Featuring advanced CBRN sensors and the integration of the FLIR R80D SkyRaider UAV with the MUVE B330 biological detection payload, the modernization promises improved automation, reduced cognitive load on troops, and faster operational responses.
