I love and enjoy every bit of it, as the saying goes," choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life" one of my career mentors used to tell me," do it with passion or not at all" but of Couse cooperate life comes with its challenges and pressures; it's never a walk in the park.
I might have been lucky to get a job immediately after my undergraduate, but I am also alive to the fact that the unemployment rate in Kenya is still so high, and many young people, even though they possess all the skills and competencies required by the job market still do not manage to secure a job leave alone a stable one. I have always encouraged young people in my circle to pursue self-employment by getting business mentors in their field to support them in developing unique solutions/products based on the market needs.
Succeeding in the cooperate world requires you to break many glass ceilings; I guess obstacles are always placed in our way to see if what we want is worth fighting for, work smart, and always be ready to reinvent yourself to remain relevant in your field, add value, and be an asset, always leave a legacy.
Lastly, I have always been driven by my purpose in life to become the best version of myself, without being oblivious that I am allowed to be both a masterpiece and work in progress simultaneously.
