Nature’s Pride x Bizerba: Waste reduction and process optimization through individual labeling

An absolute premiere in Europe, at Nature's Pride in Maasdijk. The Bizerba LDI 20 label dispenser was integrated into the production line and adapted to the specific situation at Nature's Pride. The label dispenser labels fruit and vegetables piece by piece and fully automatically, whether in trays or cartons. The fruit and vegetable products can also be labeled in fixed inserts without packaging.

The LDI 20 offers a high degree of #flexibility. Each applicator is controlled separately and can be #automatically positioned depending on the products. After a roll change, the applicator adjusts automatically. The LDI 20 label dispenser can handle up to 15 different label formats. Optimum user-friendliness for display operators. REDUCING WASTE AND SAVING COSTS

An #inspection device has been added to the LDI 20, which checks that no product leaves Nature's Pride without a label. The connection to higher-level systems enables data transfer and evaluation and supports production planning and #process optimization through #transparentdata.
