This is Laurie's first appearance on "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee" in November of 1986.
Along with David Friedman, Laurie was there to promote her run at the Ballroom as well as her role as Grizabella in Cats, where she was beginning her second year in the role. Laurie performed this song many, many times over a 12-year period, each time it seemed to take on a new meaning and she never tired of singing it.
