this classic fight scene is from Sammo Hung's action-comedy "Wheels on Meals" (1984), which spawned the Spartan X franchise on the NES (released in the US as Kung Fu Master) and is a definitive chunk of the 80's Hong Kong cinema culture that inspired games like Tekken, so i felt a crossover was in order.
i made this video to showcase the "combat tempo" or "operatic rhythm" commonly associated with these older, undercranked HK films. the music syncing in sequence is a good example; i really didn't need to edit much to accomplish it.
