We are excited to present a magical and emotionally rich musical journey — The Hayao Miyazaki Medley Suite.

This specially crafted suite brings together five beloved theme songs from Hayao Miyazaki’s iconic animated films: “The Name of Life” and “Reprise” from Spirited Away, “Carrying You” from Castle in the Sky, “The Promise of the World” from Howl’s Moving Castle, and the powerful theme from Princess Mononoke. These melodies have accompanied many of us through childhood and beyond, evoking dreams, adventures, and profound reflections on the relationship between humanity and nature.

Cellist YoYo revisits these treasured works with a fresh perspective, joined by pianist Rena れな, who performs the accompaniment and creates new arrangements specifically for this performance. Rather than presenting them as standalone pieces, Rena weaves them into a seamless medley that deepens the emotional connection between each piece. Listeners are invited to embark on a journey through Miyazaki’s worlds — from the innocence and hope of Castle in the Sky, to the solemn intensity of Princess Mononoke, and back to the mystery and tenderness of Spirited Away.
