Dome Home Project (2022) part 2

Dome Home 2022 Project is a multi-part video series to introduce you to the new and improved concrete block dome home design that I am working on. And, this video tells you about the various design and construction concepts for this dome. This version of the Dome Home is a simpler, sturdier, easier to build design than its predecessor, the original; Dome Home 1. In this version, I switch to more accessible, durable, and workable building materials like concrete block, concrete mix, steel rebar, wood, and simple alloys. Here I utilize the revolution actions, or rotations to simplify and make relatively easy the construction of a complex form; the dome. In effect, dome construction is brought to the level of the amateur and mid level skilled worker.
Video part 2 focuses on the design characteristics of the concrete block walls, doors, and windows. The circular walls are a simple array of rebar, blocks, and mortar resting on a circular foundation footing made of rebar reenforced concrete.
