Halfway Through Floor Upgrade and We've Shed 300kg!

The great floor replacement continues! We're now past the halfway mark, having removed over 300kg of heavy timber, and the system is running like a well-oiled machine.

In this episode, you'll see the entire process: from the kids removing the old, water-damaged plywood bulkheads and prepping cleats, to the precision templating and infusion of new composite floors with seamlessly integrated hatches. We also tackle rewiring the engine loom and make the call to replace two rotten structural bulkheads around the daggerboard case.

It's a true family effort as we methodically transform Paikea's interior into a lighter, stronger, and more modern space.
