Time for some Christmas Reindeer way up North in Russia near The Kara Sea. The the Yamal Peninsula, land of the Nenets.
People living in the tundra are accustomed to a nomadic life. Their homes are ascetic, ( the practice of severe self-discipline and abstention from all forms of indulgence, typically for religious reasons) food is basic, and deer are their life support. They don’t watch TV or will see your comments on internet. Their children are sent away to boarding schools to be educated, although not all parents are in favor of this. Find out more about life and education in the tundra on RT.
