South Carolina ETV Network - Sign-off recorded 29 November 1998

Recorded off the local cable system while I was taking a little vacation in Cheraw, South Carolina during Thanksgiving weekend in 1998. The station from whence this came is WJPM-TV Channel 33 in Florence. The video commences with the closing moments of PBS's Stargazer program starring Jack Foley Horkheimer, the program that was then aired by many public TV stations to conclude their broadcast days. The sign-off features a rundown of the eleven SCETV Network stations and transmitters and also has a listing of the stations for SC Educational Radio (now SC Public Radio). This is one of the earliest sign-offs I've seen where the station's (or, in this instance, the network's) web site is mentioned. SCETV's headquarters in Columbia is at George Rogers Boulevard, across from Williams-Brice Stadium, home of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks' football team.
