Having performed in 2011 on the TEDxPortland stage, the PHAME Unified Rock Ensemble joins the TEDxPortland team again to perform hits touching on themes of inclusion from Coldplay and Modest Mouse.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. PHAME believes art is a fundamental human right. Since 1984, PHAME has supported artists and performers with disabilities in achieving their full creative potential. Through classes, performances and a statewide coalition, PHAME affects systemic change to build a more inclusive world. Recent collaborations have included Pink Martini, the Portland Cello Project, and a world premiere musical by Debbie Lamedman and Laura Gibson.
