Setting up a pressure pot and compressor for bubble-free resin casting can be an intimidating process, because there are many options and variables. Not to mention you're dealing with high pressure, and need to be safe.

Links at bottom to some very good and very clear videos on setting up and using a California Air Tools pressure pot.

Details below on the specific equipment I use for casting resin toys. These options are not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. I went this way because I was willing to spend a bit more (wanted equipment that would last a long time), and I didn't want to retrofit or refurb pots or compressors. All these items work out of the box (the connectors are the trickiest part).

FROM PRINCESS AUTO:
-Vaper Brand Mini Air Compressor (around $130 CAN)
-1/4" air hose (male connector at both ends), shortest length of hose should be good
-female to female 1/4" connector (this connects to hose on one side, and the other side connects to compressor)
-1/4" quick connector (find one that has female screw-on end to connect to hose, and also
has a female quick connector at other end to pressure pot)
-air hose tape (aka teflon tape) to ensure all connections are air tight
*** TIP: I actually brought the lid of the pressure pot to the store, and their staff helped me find specific connectors
