Insane F30 2014 BMW 335i M-sport launch control

How to activate and engage launch control in the f30 335i. This is with the 8 speed ZF auto.

The car isn't doing as much with the actual mechanics of the launch with this transmission vs a DCT, however it seems to manage wheelspin well and hook off the line. It also seems to me that the shifts are harder as well. This video was in an empty parking lot with smooth asphalt that this car just loves to spin on so really it did well, even with spinning into 3rd..

Performing a launch in just sport mode with a bit of brake boosting can launch just fine. But with DTC and DSC still active in Sport, they can work against you if you get any spin because it of course will limit power.

Or you can have traction all the way off, and attempt a launch. This is also perfectly feasible but you have a great chance of a burnout rather than launch.

With this being said, I think the launch control does an appropriate job in actually getting off the line.
