Supernatural: Destiel Fairytale!Verse -- Remember Me (Ivan Torrent)

Dean Winchester is a half demon, half human, prince of hell (Sam is the half angel, half human stepbrother of Dean but that’s for another video). Heaven and hell are in an all-out war, but Dean’s determined to stay out of it. Enter Castiel, an angel of the Lord, who flies gracefully (actually he lands on the barn roof and falls off, but he makes thunder to cover it up) into Dean’s life. He tries to convince Dean to join heaven’s side, but to no avail. Secretly an agent of the intelligence division of heaven sent to collect the prince at all costs, Cas resorts to force-raising Dean from perdition, which purifies Dean soul. But it also makes him hell’s most wanted, being the son of the king. Dean begrudgingly teams up with Cas because, well, there’s safety in numbers, even if that number is an angelic dick. But they both soon discover the deepness of the corruption of heaven – not just hell. Neither side is in the right. Cas then rebels, falling from heaven. And maybe starts to fall for someone, too. Dean and Cas work together for a while, trying to collect their own army of hunters to go up against the demons and angels. But it all comes crumbling down when Dean is captured by Naomi, the head of heaven’s intelligence division, in retaliation for Cas’s rebellion. Cas makes a deal with the devil, literally – if he becomes a double agent by supporting Lucifer (the king of heaven, also Sam’s father) and compromises the hunter army, then Luci will return Dean to Cas, safe. Well, Dean is saved, but he finds out how. Suffice to say, he is not thrilled. Cas says that he had a plan all along. With the Angel Tablet in his possession, he was going to defeat the devil by using its power to save everybody. But Naomi, in revenge for Dean being taken back, steals the Angel Tablet – and now controls Cas. Realizing the only way she can win is if Dean is dead, she reprograms Cas into a Dean-killing machine. But Cas’s love for Dean breaks the tablet’s hold on Cas, and the tablet disintegrates. This not only causes the angels to fall from heaven, but releases Lady Dark – Amara. While Cas is scrambling to readjust to being wingless and back in control of his own mind, Dean is captured by Amara. Against Dean’s will, he is quickly drawn to her. Cas rescues Dean (again), but not before being captured himself. Dean then rescues him (there’s angel possession involved). But Cas slowly gets sick from catching the Darkness – a disease Amara and her Leviathan army are spreading. Cas, overrun by the disease, drowns himself. He is brought back to life (the how and by whom would require me to go into Sam’s side of the story, I’ll do that later.) Dean and Cas kill the head Leviathan, and are sent into purgatory. They get separated, but find each other. Dean and Benny may have had a, er, thing for a while in purgatory, btw. Awkward for Cas a bit. They attempt to leave purgatory (canon-style) but of course Cas stays behind to atone. He feels responsible for the Darkness being released, the angels falling, everything. Dean, now back on earth and without his won’t-admit-it-but-I’m-totally-in-love-with-him angel friend, slowly returns to his demonic roots in search of revenge and a way to bring Cas back. Because Dean thinks he failed Cas. Everything he is becoming is failing Cas. But demons can’t feel, right? Using his frenemy Rowena and the Book of the Damned, he brings Cas back from purgatory. But what has Dean done, Dean become, to save someone who didn’t want to be saved? And who is Cas, to try to save someone who doesn’t think he deserves to be saved? Regardless, Dean has a plan to defeat Amara. It doesn’t involve him coming out alive though, which Cas is not okay with. An all-out fight between Dean and Cas ensues (think 10x22). Um, Cas loses. Dean, loaded up with souls in bomb form thanks to Rowena, goes to try to destroy the Darkness. Cas catches him just in time for a quick goodbye hug.
“I could go with you,” Cas says, almost pleading.
“No, no, I gotta do this alone.” Dean says.
How does their story end? Mmmm, I haven’t decided yet.
