The Uttar Pradesh government has announced a major recruitment drive in the police department in 2026. A total of 32,679 constable positions will be filled in the state. The government has provided significant relief to candidates who have previously served as Home Guards. Under the new order, candidates who have completed at least three years of service as Home Guards will receive a three-year age relaxation in the police recruitment process. Information regarding this has been released on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.

उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने साल 2026 में पुलिस विभाग में बड़ी भर्ती का ऐलान किया है। राज्य में सिपाही के कुल 32,679 पदों पर भर्ती की जाएगी। इस भर्ती में सरकार ने होमगार्ड के तौर पर काम कर चुके अभ्यर्थियों को बड़ी राहत दी है। नए आदेश के तहत जिन उम्मीदवारों ने होमगार्ड की नौकरी कम से कम 3 साल पूरी कर ली है, उन्हें पुलिस भर्ती में उम्र सीमा में 3 साल की छूट दी जाएगी। इस संबंध में जानकारी उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस भर्ती एवं प्रोन्नति बोर्ड की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर जारी कर दी गई है
