Fix your Mazda 3 alarm going off spontaneously. Mine is a 2010, but it should be the same for 2008-2012.

Applying approx 0.2A of current through the closed door switch sensor should be enough to remove the oxidation. Make sure to cycle the door switch a bunch of times until the resistance consistently reads low.
If you use a 9V battery, you'll want to add a resistor of approx 45 ohms (9V/0.2A = 45). The switch should be able to handle a fair bit more current just fine (the original source I read used 0.6A), but 0.2A seemed to work fine.
