Luo had been a hawker for many years, selling fried prawn noodles in an old neighbourhood with a few regulars. One of them was Yan, an elderly man who lives alone. Both of them were long time drinking buddies and Yan would come daily for Luo's food. One day, Luo received a call from Yan, asking him to deliver the fried prawn noodles and hang it by the door. Luo tried calling Yan, but no one answered. When Luo visited Yan the next day, he found Yan had passed away a few days ago......
老罗当炒福建面小贩已经很多年，一直守着摊位，为为数不多的老主顾服务。其中一个是独居老人老阎。老阎和老罗是多年酒友，老阎每天都会来吃老罗的炒福建面，甚至是一天不吃就浑身不自在。有一天老阎竟然没下楼来吃炒福建面，老罗担心老阎是否患病，没想到接到老阎的电话，说自己不舒服，想让老罗把炒福建面送上去，挂在门口，老罗自然义不容辞，把炒好的面挂在门口。老罗打电话给老阎，却始终没人接。老罗不放心，到老陈家去敲门，结果，从老阎邻居口中得知，老陈前几天已经被“打包”送走了，被人发现尸体时，已经腐烂不堪，死了估计有好几天了
