4月に入り、観測所開設以来、相対湿度の記録を更新しました。なんと最低21%まで下がりました！先週は99%まで上がり、霧が数日間続きました！私が住んでいるマカオでは、霧と湿気は春の定番です。しかし、今年は全く違います。マカオには植物や木々、花々があるのに、花が咲いているのを見かけません。父に頼んで、島々へ行って、もっとじっくり観察してみようかな。

霧といえば、霧にまつわる曲「夜霧のしのび逢い」のカバーはいかがでしょうか。「La Playa」という曲で、ギタリストのクロード・キアリがオリジナルを演奏しています。この曲は1963年のギリシャ映画「Τα κόκκινα φανάρια」（英語ではRed Lanterns）で使われましたが、日本では「夜霧のしのび逢い」というタイトルで、キアリの「La Playa」が主題歌として使われました。まあ、タイトルが気に入ったので「夜霧のしのび逢い」と呼ぶことにします。この曲は、今回も我が家のヴィンテージ・クラシックギターで演奏するので、皆さんにも気に入っていただけると嬉しいです。そうそう、動画の最後にある「イースターエッグ」もお見逃しなく！ 我が家の猫「アフア」がスペシャルゲストとして登場していることにお気づきかもしれません。なぜか最近、彼はマーシャルのギターアンプの上に座るのが好きなんです。

It is April, and surprisingly, the relative humidity broke the record ever since we started to have the observatory here. Relative humidity dropped all the way to a record low of 21%! You see, last week, it was 99%, not to mention we had mist and fog for a good few days! It is normal to have fog and humid weather here in my city (Macau), as that would a typical spring here. No, it’s very different, as I don’t see any flowers blossoming here, despite we have plants and trees and flowers here as well. Maybe I need to ask my dad to take me to the island, and I will need to open my eyes more and observe more.

Talking about fog, how about a song this time with a Japanese name related to fog: 夜霧のしのび逢い (cover). It is called La Playa, and originally, it was played by guitarist Claude Chiari. This song was used in a Greek movie from 1963 called “Τα κόκκινα φανάρια” (Red Lanterns in English”, but in Japan, it went by the name 夜霧のしのび逢い, and they used Chiari’s song “La Playa” as the main theme. Well, I will just call it “夜霧のしのび逢い” because I like the name. I hope you like this song as once again, I am using our vintage classical guitar to play this song. Hope you like it! Oh wait, don’t miss the “easter egg” at the end! You probably notice that my cat “Ah Hua” appeared as a special guest in the footage. I don’t know why, but he likes sitting on the Marshall amp these days.
