I was bored.
This only took an hour to do, which is sort of disappointing as I thought it'd pose more of a challenge. This set of buffs is top tier, as potency to destructible parts scales extremely hard up to 200% more potency I believe, which turns tanky Pettas-type enemies into paper as their chest and their exposed core both count as a 'destructible part'; and tons of other Starless have a bunch of qualifying parts that let you cash in on that extra potency.
Gunner is the class that benefits the best from the Attack Speed bonus, as it only affects PAs and not counters; while most other classes want to spam counters, we spam PAs, and our big damage is also PAs. Gunner also can double dip with nearly every other Leciel buff as sources of extra damage count as TMG damage, therefore benefitting from Chain Finish.
The layout was pretty good, with a decent number of good puzzle rooms, and 3 or 4 mobile cannon rooms (which it is better to just ignore and spam Homing Darts) which all fall over. The destructible part bonus allowed Homing Dart spam to clean literally every single room by standing in the middle and spinning. Ironically it was the Ranger expansion that enabled this Gunner clear, as Darts gained more lock-ons and more range.
The donut room with tornadoes and rorons was annoying, as there is no cheat to clear it fast despite it being quite small.
The biggest obstacle was resetting until the layout of 1s and 2s and the * were clustered together in a way that I could logically move between rooms without skipping any while collecting only those buffs, as the others really aren't worth anything. The other point of pain was where the Giruva core spawned. This time it spawned quite near me, and also near the spawn point, which is where the plot devices are. I think Giruva is technically the faster trial to get in Leciel, but far more random. (If you got a Gigantix and they jumped off the map, that'd be faster, but fuck that)
The boss wasn't really part of the goal I had in mind; it's a blowout for anyone if they get here alone, as the boss scaling is quite aggressive with 8 players. However, Growzard Hyunal is a pretty poor boss to face as both the Growzard and his sword do not contribute to damage done to him; so you can see his health bar absolutely melt until the Growzard respawns and then I can't hit his body with anything; despite it being more optimal to just kill him right there, if I had the option. At least when you're alone, Hyunal isn't running away and swatting at ghosts.
