This is a tribute to my father, my hero! He was amongst the Greatest Generation! This is just a short version that my husband and I put together for Dad as he began to open up about his World War II days. He was the most humble of men, as most of them were. Dad taught me how to love my country, respect my elders, obey the rules, obey the law, and most of all to love the Lord! His integrity and character withstood the test of time! I am so grateful that the Lord gave him to me. In this day of great evil, let us reflect upon what it means to be an American and the sacrifices that it took to become one of the greatest nations on earth. May we always strive to do our part to preserve our freedom as those have done before us! I love you Dad!
