How to Sculpt Amazing 3D Flowers in Acrylic! 💐

We’re Back, and we’ve got Maddie in today. We’re going through the whole Gel Polish range of people.

Maddie fractured her foot so she’s off work and has come back to Stoke for some nails and 3D nail art with the 123 go nails from E-nail Couture

I’ve already done the prep work on her nails so I’m going to clean them up. I’m then going to size the tips and prep them buy filing the cuticle edge a little thinner and straightening the free edge. I’m then going to prep and prime the nails. I’m going to use the mini lamp for this next bit to flash cure the nails. I’m going to apply the 123 Go gel on the nail and then into the false nail, I’ll angle the nail to the cuticle and then press that down to spread the gel and cure it with the mini lamp so it stays while I do the rest of the nails. I’ll cure them all in the lamp and then shorten the nails a little bit for Maddie.

For the gel portion of the design, I’m just going to base coat and then apply two coats of Nanny Pam in a smile line and some full covers and Top Coat to seal that all in. I then decided to buff the nails and apply stickers and top coat before jumping into the 3D acrylic.

I’m going to start with the centre and double dip my yellows to make a little dome shape. I’m then going to use some baking paper and double dip the blues to create singular petals and apply them one by one until I need to apply the acrylic directly to the nail. I’m then going to finish it by adding cascading leaves/petals. For the other nail I’m going to start by applying the outside petal directly to the nail and building the flower up from there. I’m gonna finish off with BLING BLING and cuticle oil!
