Vanaf 1948 bouwde Hans-Peter Zoller en zijn vrouw Kinoton op als een groot filmprojectoren fabrikant. Met bioscoopeigenaar Willi Burth ontwikkelde zij samen de Non-rewind in de jaren'60. Die later de multie-complexen mogelijk maakte wereldwijd.
