Did original garments go down to the ankles and wrists? Did they have an open crotch and rear end for going to the bathroom and having sex? In the late 1920s, were garments almost eliminated by the Quorum of the Twelve, except for use in the temple? Were garments shortened in 1923 to go down to the elbow and just below the knee? Were garments further shortened in years to come? Were original garments one piece? Did they become two pieces in 1979? Was the pattern of garments received by the Prophet Joseph Smith by revelation? Did early Prophets of the church say that the pattern could not be changed? What were early garments made of? What kind of marks were in garments? Were these marks, including the square and compass, Masonic? What Masonic symbols / tools are represented on the navel and knee? What do these symbols / marks mean in both Masonry and Mormonism? Were garment marks snipped into the garments during the live temple ceremony? Was the skin cut when making these marks? Were these cuts similar to Masonic ceremonies, where they cut / pressed marks into the skin? Were very many of the early leaders of the church Masons? Were the early garments supposed to provide spiritual and physical protection? Were garments to be worn all the time except for bathing? Why did Joseph and Hyrum Smith not wear their garments on the day they were killed at Carthage jail? Was Willard Richards protected by his garments at Carthage? Did the old Salt Lake City endowment house have four Masonic symbols in the corners of the Garden of Eden room? What were these symbols? Were these marks / symbols cut into the garments? Did lucifer wear a Masonic apron in the early to mid-Mormon temple ceremonies? If so, what did this apron look like? I was able to find 25 accounts of his apron. Did lucifer’s apron have a square and compass on it? Why did lucifer say that his apron was an “emblem of his power and Priesthoods?” Why was this verbiage taken out of the ceremony in 2019? What kind of costume did lucifer wear? Was Masonry true and complete at the time of Solomon’s temple? Did Masonic temple ceremonies become corrupted over time? Did Joseph restore “true Masonry?” Has the church ever released photographs of lucifer’s apron? What is my theory on why lucifer’s apron has Masonic markings, including the square and compass? Does this look bad for the church? Who were some of the actors who played lucifer? Until the 1970s, was lucifer referred to as having black skin by the preacher? Do we have a photograph of Joseph Smith’s Masonic apron? What about other Prophets? If so, are there squares and compass’ on their aprons? Did Jesus and all the Prophet’s of old wear Mormon / Masonic garments? Did early Mormon’s cut the sacred marks into their shirts as well as their garments? Are Mormons buried in temple clothes and garments? Could women get their endowment and garments if they were married to a non-member or had an inactive husband? What about men? When did this policy change? Why did the Prophet Heber J. Grant say there was no “fixed pattern” for the garments? Did members wear the “approved” long garments in the temple until 1975? If they wore the short garments, were they turned away? I will quote direct verbiage from the temple ceremonies about the garments, starting in 1931. We do not have good, complete scripts before this time. What explanations do they give in the ceremonies for the meaning of the marks? Are the Masonic garment marks also on the large white curtain / veil in the temple? Starting in 1935, then in 1950 and again in 1988, what were valid excuses for not wearing the garment? Did David O. McKay offer his own explanations for the meaning of the garment marks? When garments are worn out should the marks be cut or burned? Did Spencer W. Kimball say that garments would protect members from physical harm? Did Joseph Fielding Smith wear the long, original garments his entire life? Was he opposed to shortening the garments? Were Mormons originally naked in a tub, like Adam and Eve, when first given their garments in the temple? Starting in 1969, could men and women in the military wear green, khaki, black or brown garments? If white garments represent purity and holiness, what do black and brown garments represent? Did leaders say at one time that garments must be white? Did J. Reuben Clark want to abolish garments? Do more modern leaders seem to make up information about the meaning of garments? Are Millennials starting to take off their garments for more and more activities? Has the church had to clamp down on this? Can policemen and firemen now wear colored garments? Will garments someday be eliminated except for in the temple? All this and more will be answered in this thorough video! Enjoy!
