The picturesque hill district of Ukhrul is set to buzz with intellectual fervor as it prepares to host its 8th Education Festival from October 29 to 31, 2025. The flagship event, to be organised jointly by Ukhrul District Administration and North East Foundation For Education & Culture (NEFEC) at the Jubilee Hall, UBC in Ukhrul town, aims to champion the spirit of learning and redefine the future of education through innovation, inclusivity, and inspiration.
This was announced by Ukhrul Deputy Commissioner Ashish Das during a press conference at the DC conference hall on Thursday, 4 September. DC Das, who is also chairman of the festival’s Managing Committee, revealed a significant expansion for the upcoming edition.
