132. How to Glaze Big Bowls - with Floating Blue and Oxide Wash

Glazing pottery is that last and important step in pottery making. If done well it can turn a great pot into an amazing one.

But glazing very large pots - such as big bowls is a special challenge. Often they are too big to dip, it takes to much work to brush glaze them and you may not have the option to spray glaze.

In this video I will show you how I glaze my big bowls when not spray glazing them.

I will be using one of my favorite pottery glaze combinations for this: Floating Blue, Heath A2 White, Temmoku Gold and with cobalt, copper and red iron oxide wash on top.
