This is one of a series of videos covering a service of my 1975 Norton Commando 850 MKIII. This includes changing the engine oil including changing and cleaning the filters, checking the oil in the gearbox, checking the oil in the primary chaincase, adjusting and lubricating the rear chain, adjusting the tappets, checking cables for rubbing/chafing, changing the air filter, checking the torque on the cylinder head bolts, cleaning and checking the starter motor commutator, and in this case mending a slightly malfunctioning side stand.
